WMEA ANNUAL CONFERENCE: 20-22 MARCH 2026
White Mountain Education Association, Inc (WMEA) is holding its Annual International Agni Yoga – Living Ethics Conference on 20-22 March 2026 with its theme of “Agni Yoga: The Fiery Signs of a New Humanity”.
WMEA president and founder, Rev. Joleen D. DuBois, provides an introduction to the 2026 Conference on the website https://wmea-world.org/conference2026/ where she says:
Agni Yoga is known as the yoga of Living Ethics. Agni is related to light, energy, fire, and will. In the book Agni Yoga, Master M. states that Agni Yoga is:
“. . . created upon the manifestation of Fire, the life-giver and the creator of will.” (Agni Yoga, verse 162) Fire is the catalyst for spiritual growth and transformation. It is the “purificatory fire” that burns away impurities, egoic limitations, and negative karma, illuminating the path to spiritual awakening and self-realization. Agni Yoga is a path toward inner transformation, utilizing this purifying and elevating property. Helena Roerich explained that the fire of Agni is a non-burning, non-scorching flame and is also called a celestial fire. … It is through the awakening of the celestial fire of Agni within the consciousness of an advancing humanity that we begin to see the fiery signs of new world cultures. …
To dedicate ourselves to improving life on this planet as Agni Yoga practitioners, in our personal, professional and service lives, means asking ourselves, “What am I going to do to improve the life of this planet?”
Through exploring the Fiery Signs of a New Humanity, the conference offers the opportunity to engage seriously with this question.
The conference will include presentations, films and creative meditations working with Nicholas Roerich’s paintings.
