Global Silent Minute as a Fractal Within the Community of Life

GLOBAL SILENT MINUTE AS A FRACTAL WITHIN THE COMMUNITY OF LIFE: Co-founders’ perspective on the Global Silent Minute Community*

In thinking about the Global Silent Minute Community what came to heart was the phrase:

“The Revelation is Oneness and nothing else.”

Initiated in Capricorn 2019 the Global Silent Minute Community is a mere fractal in the One Community of Life within the infinite chain of being throughout all kingdoms of nature on Earth – mineral, vegetable, animal, human and super-human.

The Global Silent Minute initiative grew out of a deep resonance with the purpose of the original Big Ben Silent Minute, launched by Wellesley Tudor Pole in World War II, with its intention to provide an opportunity daily for those on the other side of the veil to consciously cooperate to defeat evil and bring an end to that war.

Beyond the war, Wellesley Tudor Pole grasped the significance of the power of meeting daily, “hearts across distance” around the world and across the veil, in Silence: an opportunity for the Forces of Light to work vigilantly as a spiritual army using spiritual weapons – in particular the power of united thought – for evolutionary purposes on behalf of the Common Good.

In New Era Community (275) it is said:

“When calculations become complex and Infinity is obscured, then will be remembered anew the simplest principle: from heart to heart – such is the law of fraternity, community, fellowship.”

Let us remember the simplest principle or law of community: heart to heart.

The Global Silent Minute Community works with the Doctrine of the Heart working “outward from it, not inward toward it” (Heart, 339). It’s our point of identification.

In this moment, as we participate in the shift of the ages from Pisces to Aquarius, we realize that we are called to cooperate on the basis of inner evolutionary impulses arising in the Heart that activates the will to act from internal inspiration rather than complying with any external idea/s.

We recognize that the resonance with, and radiatory growth, of the Global Silent Minute initiative results from the striking of a deep inner chord within the heart that awakens inner remembrance of our greater identity – inclusive of our simultaneous participation in the three worlds of spirit, soul and personality.

Our resonance in the heart activates inner remembrance of the livingness of “hearts across distance” – making real our communion in the One Heart with all those both sides of the veil, in and out of incarnation. It is said that our individual hearts are on loan to us for the purpose of this communion in the One Heart.

When we daily participate in a Global Silent Minute we do so with intention and shared purpose, calling for Global Cooperation, Peace and Freedom, in recognition of the revelation of our time: Oneness in the Communion of the Heart. Embracing this service has brought the realization that the intentional gathering in Silence is action; is labor; and is revealing the power of Silence. Silence as Action in Sacred Unity.

It is just one moment every day and just as it is important to care for the Cosmos in each blade of grass (New Era Community, 92), it is essential to take a moment to be in sacred unity in community. Through this experience we realize we are citizens – not only of the Earth, but also of the Universe.

The micro, the macro – the one and the same – through comprehension and apprehension in the heart comes the realization of synthesis.  As builders of Life we are urged to:

“…find new words, forged by new necessity. Realization of the newness of each hour will provide the impulse.” New Era Community, 118.

We could say realization of the newness of each daily minute in Silence will provide the impulse. We are encouraged to apprehend the power of the “new call” of the Heart that can be applied in the life of every day.

We know that the Agni Yoga Teachings come to life as they are wrought out in the furnace of our being.

Humanity has so many experiments of living and working in community because we realize on some level that we are striving to assist Earth to realize her sacredness within a greater Community.

The great shift occurring for humanity is in consciousness, from separateness to synthesis, from a siloed approach to life to an approach of realized unity and interconnectedness. We have an opportunity to support this shift in consciousness as we offer our life in community to the realization of the Oneness of Life.

In closing we offer the final statement in New Era Community:

“Toiler, when the energy is transmuted into an ocean of light, does thy consciousness quiver or expand? Toiler, is thy heart fearful or exultant when before thee looms Infinity?”
