To most people, the moon is not something that they focus upon very much. However, one evening, a guy name Wylie takes his 12″ Dobsonian mobile telescope out and about in Los Angeles, and invites people to look at the moon up close; the effect upon everybody is stunning, their energy is uplifted, and the shared experience seems to generate joy and unifying goodwill in everyone. Perhaps the experience brought home the realisation of where they actually were; i.e. on a little planet in a vast universe. As Wylie says, “we should look up more often”.
