4 minute video. Composer and pianist Malek Jandali (http://www.MalekJandali.com) discusses his nonprofit organization Pianos For Peace (http://www.PianosForPeace.org) with Malta Independent after his benefit concert during the Voice of the Free Syrian Children tour in Europe.
Jandali says “Pianos for peace is a not-for-profit organization aiming to build peace through music and education. We have pianos, we paint them, we put them all on the streets to spread peace in the communities and then we donate them to nursing homes, to educational systems to health care facilities and other organizations and needs. So it’s basically building peace through music.”
