Restoring the Plan on Earth

In our increasingly precarious world, conflict seems to be intensifying in all dimensions of the life we share on planet Earth. Even efforts to bring resolution and progress can become politicised as those seeking to gain or maintain power rationalise opposing views and open the way for the spread of misinformation. These conflicts arise and play out through the human mind which analyses, rationalises, and creates conclusions based on what it wishes to accept as “facts”, whether they are true or not. Yet, as this pervasive energy of conflict intensifies, a greater truth emerges – that the mind alone is limited until it expands beyond individual self-interest to encompass the whole truth and the rightful place of all within it.

As the fire of self-interest fades in the light of the whole, the heart and soul of humanity gains an increasingly radiant presence in the world. Then a different conflict emerges, a deeper division that is playing out through our world and within each of us, between the partial truth, in which the personality may find temporary comfort no matter how it may harm others, and the Truth that the soul knows and which is now dawning across the world of the human heart, shining the light that dispels the destructive fog of half-truths, lies and self-justifications. This deeper conflict is not between worldly powers but between a growing realisation of our eternal being within an infinitely greater life, and an older, limiting sense of personal identity, isolated and competing for material livelihood. The dawning is the awakening of the human soul radiating through the human heart and revealing the path that resolves the conflict – as reflected in this ancient mantram:

Lead us, O Lord, from darkness to light,
From the unreal to the Real.
From death to immortality.

The development of the human mind has brought wonders of healing and communication, which have brought us to a realisation of the one World, one humanity and a global civilisation that is beginning to transcend all borders of land, ideology, and religion. This new realisation is in stark contrast to an older worldview based on the so-called “law of the jungle” or survival of the fittest physical vehicle. We are beginning to understand the greater truth that we are not the temporary vehicles we inhabit for a sojourn in the material realm but are rather immortal souls that transcend death as Christ demonstrated for us so long ago.

Today many in the world are willing to face the death of the form in order to confront injustice, lies and their destructive impact. They are not coerced or bowed by fear because their hearts are awake with the love of truth and the vision of our world as divinely intended. Their call for a world based on compassion and love for all is no longer a meek request or prayer but a demand that is becoming louder and clearer as it reverberates through the planes of being.

The dynamic of Life in all dimensions is that every action inspires a response from the whole in which it occurs. In material science it is clearly understood that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. When understood in terms of the whole of life, every action and reaction reverberate throughout because the same life is the cohering force that integrates the whole, so every action ripples out and affects the whole.

As the demand grows for truth, justice, and the valuing of every soul, so a response must come. However, that response may not come from those to whom many are voicing their protest but from a much greater light. The essential demand is expressed perfectly in the Great Invocation given to humanity by the spiritual hierarchy of the planet – currently invisible in the fog of conflict and war but soon to become visible as human eyes begin to see with the eyes of the soul and to perceive the truth that extends beyond the material realm. Then the presence of the Coming One, known as Christ and by other names, will be reflected in human hearts, and the love of God will radiate through the world. Thus, the great evolutionary unfoldment progresses according to the divine purpose emanating from the dynamic point which many call Shamballa, the centre where the will of God is known. The Tibetan Master explains:

The love of God, focussed in the Christ, seeks to express itself in some act of peculiarly useful service to humanity. This service has taken different forms down through the ages, but it has always expressed itself through two episodes: One of them, the first, reveals the Christ in His capacity of the God-Saviour, sacrificing Himself through pure love for His fellowmen. The annals of the Hierarchy contain many such histories of sacrifice and service, dating far back into the very night of time. The saving principle of pure love finds its expression at the hour of humanity’s greatest need in the work of a World Saviour and ‘for the salvation of His people, He comes forth.’

He thus meets the need, and at the same time strengthens the link which relates the Hierarchy to Humanity. The task of the Christ (as the expression in time and space of the second divine aspect) is to establish relationships. Every cyclic Representative of Deity furthers the approach of the Hierarchy to mankind, and seals this service by some final act which becomes the historical nucleus whereby later generations remember Him.

That accomplished, He stays with His people as Head of the Hierarchy until His second opportunity comes, in which as Representative both of Humanity and the Hierarchy, He can relate them both to Shamballa.” The Rays and the Initiations, page 88-89

This second opportunity is now approaching. Together we can augment the call by sounding the Great Invocation:

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into human minds.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into human hearts.
May the Coming One return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide all little human wills –
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the human race
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.
