Forces are realigning between the old world as it slowly destroys itself, and a new world rising out of the ashes
Let us imagine this new world so that we will know how to recognise its first luminous shoots as they shine amongst the rubble of the old. Thus, we will draw the new world into being and, in turn, we will be drawn into its greater reality. As we invoke it, it is evoked in a magical, mutual resonance – for this world is the domain of the heart, the great magnet that brings everything together in realised oneness. Once we learn to see the new growth, all else pales behind its radiating presence.
…there is beauty every time somebody takes part in building the New World. This is the true domain of the heart. This longed-for purification of life gives rise to the solemnity that shines forth like an inextinguishable Light.” Heart, sloca 195
The journey into this new realm may appear long yet it is closer than we may yet realise
In this new Age it is the human heart that leads the way into a new dispensation and a completely new world which embraces all who resonate with truth, goodness, and beauty.
The power of the heart overcomes absolutely anything. The heart is able to know the meaning of events that happen far away. The heart is able to soar, thereby strengthening the necessary connections. The heart is able to partake of the distant worlds. Try this simply by transmission of the will of the brain, and you will perceive what is different about the will of the heart. The Epoch of Maitreya is the Age of the Heart! Only with the heart can you fathom the value of Maitreya’s treasures! Only with the heart can you understand how greatly all accumulations and all straight-knowledge are needed for the future.” Heart, sloca 74
The cosmos moves to the mutual interactions of all its elements as each part seeks the harmony and direction to which it is inherently drawn by the heart’s knowing. This seeking sounds through all layers of consciousness from an unconscious yearning for betterment, arising from the instinctual urge for life, to the purposeful invocative appeal of those awakened to a sense of the divine purpose that brings light and life to all dimensions of being.
The heart calls us to discern and stand firm against any remaining attachments to the outgoing stream…Then will the new tide bring the dawn of the new era and the radiance of the heart will warm all beings.
Just as the sun is the heart of the system, the human heart is the sun of the organism. There are many sun-hearts, and the Universe represents a system of hearts; that is why the cult of Light is the cult of the heart. To understand this abstractly means to leave the heart out in the cold; but as soon as the Light of the sun-heart comes alive, the need for the magnet’s warmth will make it shine forth like a true sun. It has been said: “Let your heart lead you in crossing Santana.” That is how you can make the concept of the heart resistant to the cold. You can look upon the rhythm of the heart as the rhythm of life. The Teaching about the Heart is as bright as the sun, and the warmth of the heart speeds as swiftly as a sunbeam. Everyone has felt astonishment at how a ray of the rising sun can instantly insulate everything from the cold. The heart can do the very same thing!
I am speaking of the warmth of the heart now that it is especially necessary. A thought surging forth in aspiration sets space on fire, while the warmth of the heart is a constant hearth. Courage dwells in the warmth of the heart—remember this! The manifestation of the dark forces acts like frost on a sown field. Only the heart’s warmth provides a radiant shield. But just as we conduct tests on light waves with delicate care, we should approach the heart with caution and solicitude.” Heart, sloca 62
Let us attend now to the new Life that is ready to be born
When the sun progresses into the mansion of the serving man, the way of life takes the place of the way of work. Then the tree of life grows until its branches shelter all the sons of men. The building of the Temple and the carrying of the stones cease. The growing trees are seen; the buildings disappear. Let the sun pass into its appointed place, and in this day and generation attend ye to the roots of growth.” A Treatise on White Magic, page 426
