The very smallest bird on Earth is the Bee Hummingbird, which can be found in the swampland of the Zapata Peninsula in Southern Cuba. This remarkable hummingbird is barely larger than the bee it is named after, roughly the size of a coffee bean, and beats its tiny wings an incredible 80 times a second.
This unusual PBS footage shows a nest that is smaller than a golf ball, with two tiny hatchlings growing fast.
