PRAYER FOR A WORLD WITHOUT NUCLEAR WEAPONS

PRAYER FOR A WORLD WITHOUT NUCLEAR WEAPONS

15th December 2024,
Tokyo: 9:00pm to 10:00pm JST
London: 12:00pm midday to 1:00pm GMT
New York: 7:00am to 8:00am EST
Sydney: 11:00pm to midnight AEDT

The 2024 Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to Nihon Hidankyo, a Japanese organization of atomic bomb survivors, for their efforts to demonstrate through witness testimony that nuclear weapons must never be used again.

On the day of the Sagittarian Solar Festival, there will be an event hosted by Esoteric Tokyo to pray for the abolition of nuclear weapons together with people in Japan and around the world.

At the same time, Japanese students from Esoteric Tokyo, would like to propose a new perspective on the letter written by Master DK in August 1945. In the letter, he wrote:

“This destruction … and the consequent release of their imprisoned souls, is a necessary happening; it is the justification of the use of the atomic bomb upon the Japanese population. The first use of this released energy has been destructive, but I would remind you that it has been the destruction of forms and not the destruction of spiritual values and the death of the human spirit—as was the goal of the Axis effort. The Externalisation of The Hierarchy p.496

The Japanese esoteric students in their invitation to the event write:

“We have been struggling against using the word ‘justification’ for a long time. We cannot accept the word ‘justification’ because we have learned about the tragedy and suffering of the atomic bombings through education and films of all ages. We understand how seriously the atomic bombings affected the lives of the atomic bomb survivors. When you think about the suffering of the Hibakusha, it is hard to believe that the use of such a terrible weapon could ever be ‘justified.’ His letter was criticized by some Japanese as an ‘act of evil.’

However, since the Nobel Peace Prize has illuminated the achievements of the Hibakusha, we have gained a greater awareness of this ‘justification’ perspective. The A-bomb survivors have forgiven the tragedy for the sake of future peace, overcome their hatred, and fearlessly conveyed their testimony to the world. If their contribution to calling for the abolition of nuclear weapons represents the soul of the Japanese people, then perhaps the atomic bomb awakened the soul of the Japanese people.

The Japanese personality is the sixth ray, and the ray of their soul is the fourth ray. The survivors experienced the atomic bomb at the cost of their own lives, overcame their tragic struggles, forgave the country that dropped the bomb, and are acting for the abolition of nuclear weapons and the harmony of the world in the future. If this is not the work of the soul, what else could it be?

They truly embody the spirit of harmony of Japan, the spirit of the fourth ray. Despite their unfortunate lives, the souls of Japan have begun to serve the world through their prayers for the abolition of nuclear weapons.

We slowly open our minds to the word ‘justification’ positively since the Japanese soul has generated the ambassadors of peace for nuclear abolition. Our souls have been released to recall nuclear abolition to bring heaven to earth. In Hiroshima and Nagasaki, their efforts to recover their lives with spirit have become a prayer, and the energy of peace is filling the land. And we believe that this will bring a different perspective to the idea of the justification of using nuclear weapons to end war, which the American people have long accepted. Let them also release their guilt and join us in praying for the abolition of nuclear weapons.

Now is the time for us to unite as one human family and pray for the abolition of nuclear weapons. Guided by the souls of the Hibakusha who lost their lives in the atomic bombings, let us together create history by abolishing all nuclear weapons from this earth.

We invite all esoteric students who wish for the abolition of nuclear weapons to participate in this gathering.

With the spirit and will of love,
Esoteric Tokyo”.
