The Art of Dispassion – Francis Donald

This 43 minute video is presented by Francis Donald, an artist, teacher, and faculty member of the Morya Federation Esoteric School. Francis explores the challenges involved in balancing the pairs of opposites, particularly those connected to the astral body. Francis quotes the Master DK, who says “The Astral Plane is the battleground whereon must be found the Waterloo of every aspirant” (TWM P.223-224).  He explains that this means the aspirant needs to dissociate their own astral body from the rest of the surrounding astral miasma – a difficult task. However, making progress in this regard establishes the conditions for the burning ground which all on the Lighted Path must cross. Utilising the fire of mind, the aspirant initially makes things worse, but unknowingly creates an opportunity to reach up and call upon the Soul, which can then produce an appropriate response, thus preparing the way for the Soul and personality to eventually become one.

The remaining 35 minutes are equally jam-packed with clearly defined and significant esoteric information.
