Heartlight
If we could but only see
The invisible threads that are drawn
When compassion stirs within us
And heart connection is born.
We would surely witness
An effortless falling away
Of the vocabulary of separation
That has too long had its day.
When weaving heart to heart
It nourishes, ‘tis true,
And invokes an aspiration
To become our best Self too.
When mounting pressures test us
This is the very time
To nurture our humanity
And reach for the sublime.
Imagine then a future
Full of loving threads unfurled
Woven through with Heartlight,
A peace-filled, loving world.
