A SILENT MINUTE
The shared global minute
21 December 2019 at 9.00 pm London GMT
This Shared Minute of Silence will be calibrated to the December Solstice and the commencement of the Festival Week for the New Group of World Servers
What if millions, perhaps 7.7 billion, ALL of the inhabitants of planet Earth paused for a shared minute in silence – the same minute everywhere – to cooperate with the Forces of Light to bring about evolutionary changes in earthly conditions?
Consider the power of silence… It is said that the beauty of Cosmos is manifested in silence where Infinity is regarded as the basic aspect of life. Cosmos in silence makes manifest the language of the heart.
Master Morya, the Master of the First Ray Ashram, says that the Great Silence is a living silence full of supermundane harmonies which like powerful chords, ring out, filling all of existence with its fundamental chords. The Great Silence is like the roaring of an ocean and the quietude of an empty house. It is not an absence of sound. The Great Silence envelopes the hearkening ear, turning it away from the earthly plane and opening it up to hearing the depths of sound in all dimensions of Being.
New beginnings are frequently preceded by Silence and entry into it overwhelms one’s whole being and, an energy is generated that permits communion with the Higher Worlds which results in a revitalization, regeneration and renewal.
The Festival Week of the New Group of World Servers
We know from the Tibetan Master Djwhal Khul that the New Group of World Servers’ seven-year cycle which begins again in December 2019 provides a unique opportunity for a unified invocative appeal to collaborate with the Hierarchy as an extra-planetary constellation impacts the planet while the sun is in Capricorn. The December Solstice offers the opportunity for Humanity to identify its true North – as it sets its compass for the next cycle aligned with the purpose of Sanat Kumara.
The Significance of the Ringing of the Bells
The Silent Minute at 9 pm GMT on 21 December 2019 will be preceded by the global ringing of the bells by citizens everywhere. The ringing is multi-faceted. It’s a call to stillness and silence, it’s a sounding of a note and summons to re-calibration.
Silent thought is said to penetrate to the centre of our cosmic foundation which is called “The Bell“.
There is a mountain in the Himalayas, Mount Kailas, which is called the “Mountain of the Bell.” Known as the mythic Mount Meru, the Mountain of the Bell is said to be the axis of the world, the spiritual centre of the Universe.
Within every human there is a centre in the brain called the bell. Like a resonator this centre gathers the “symphony of the world”, and transforms the deepest silence into a thundering chord.
The global ringing of the bells expresses Humanity’s yearning, intent and declaration to fulfil its destiny as an inhabitant within the Cosmos.
Intentionally sharing a planetary moment together, and living – even for a silent moment – in rhythm with the cosmic Bell, re-calibrates Humanity to its role in the unfolding beauty of cosmic evolution.
The History of the Silent Minute
The Silent Minute was born from a conversation between two soldiers on the eve of a battle in the mountains around Jerusalem in the First World War. One knew he would not survive the war and prophesied the coming of an even greater conflict that would be fought out in every continent, ocean and air. He urged his comrade to provide an opportunity for him, and millions like him, to assist from the “other side”. He said: “Lend us a moment… each day and through your Silence give us an opportunity. The power of Silence is greater than you know.”
The Silent Minute was instituted by his comrade, Major Tudor Pole O.B.E, during the London Blitz in 1940 as a moment to enter into Silence and, to provide a portal for cooperation with an “unseen but mighty army” in the subtle realms.
The Silent Minute called upon all citizens of the British Commonwealth nations and territories on land, sea and air to unite in thought – irrespective of philosophy or religion – in a Silent Prayer for Freedom and Peace. Every night on BBC radio, at one minute before the hour, the bells of Big Ben signalled the Silent Minute to begin at 9pm. Tudor Pole knew that if enough people joined in this gesture of dedicated intent, the tide would turn and the invasion of England would be diverted. Indeed, a high ranking Nazi official interrogated about why he thought Germany had lost the war, replied:
“…you had a secret weapon for which we could find no counter measure, which we did not understand, but it was very powerful. It was associated with the striking of the Big Ben each evening. I believe you called it the ‘Silent Minute’.”
Global Cooperation to Bring in the Light of the New Era
The Silent Minute creates a portal between the worlds to permit the conscious cooperation to create a better world for all.
Tudor Pole, the instigator of The Silent Minute, said:
“There is no power on earth that can withstand the united cooperation on spiritual levels of men and women of goodwill everywhere.
“Lift up your eyes into the Hills. Reach up to the Summit of your understanding. Look out from there. Learn how to widen your awareness through the attainment of the stillness of complete silence. In that Silence, listen for the Voice that will teach you all things. And be at Peace!”
Ring the Bells and Enter the Silence
Let us ring a bell at 9.00pm London GMT on 21 December 2019 and join together with the Forces of Light in one minute of global, potent, cooperative Silence to create a better world for all.

Wonderful news, Sam!!
Blessings and love,

I truly believe, like the monks in Asia, that the earth caries the vibrations of our prayers just like the wise voices of the whales , the older earthlings, who I have recently learned, are able to communicate with one another on opposite sides of our planet. Don’t you just love modern day science and the tremendous possibilities for good that are now open for all mankind?
Thank you Dot and Judy.
Bless you Maggi, your steadfast loving presence graces the Solstice Silent Minute initiative. It is a joy to journey with you, in the Spirit of Peace, Dot
